Wings of Appreciation
The Wings of Appreciation award celebrates members of the Sanctuary community who go above and beyond — offering kindness, support, creativity, or dedication that makes this space better for everyone. Anyone can nominate; our team reviews and selects each month.
How It Works
- Nominate someone. Use our nomination form to tell us who you'd like to recognise and why. There's no word limit — write as much or as little as you like. Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the month.
- We review nominations. At the end of each month, the SOB team reads all submissions and discusses nominees together. We look for genuine impact — big or small.
- We notify the recipient. The chosen recipient is contacted privately before any announcement, so they hear it from us first. We never surprise someone publicly without their knowledge.
- We celebrate them. The recipient is announced to the community, added to our recipients page below, and presented with their Wings of Appreciation inworld.
